I was just getting ready to toss a stack of old magazines when the latest issue of "Horse and Rider" fell open to a page that had the following quote:
"People think 4-H is such a wonderful thing, but it's no place for a horse-crazy kid. Sending a horse-crazed kid to 4-H is like holding AA meetings at a neighborhood pub."

E. is attending spring horse camp all this week. Too bad the weather is more winter-like than spring-like!
