Actually, the horses had nice warm showers - but were quickly chilled by the strong breeze blowing all day.
We traveled to another kind horse-lover's house today to use her indoor bathing area. The weather has been too cool to bathe our animals at our normal spot - very unspring-like, in fact. But the animals needed to be clean for tomorrow's show.
Curly was so soft and fuzzy after his bath. I just wanted to cuddle up next to him in the sunshine.
I'm now crossing my fingers that he doesn't get too dirty between now and tomorrow. :-)

I was just getting ready to toss a stack of old magazines when the latest issue of "Horse and Rider" fell open to a page that had the following quote:
